February was a somewhat busy month. I had a birthday. Part of my present was a family outing to Adventureland for min golfing. The kids had great fun, for the most part. Around hole 15 James melted down and refused to do anything. He was tired and hungry. We went to Chik-fil-a for dinner so that the kids could play more after we ate dinner. For Valentine's Day we had some wonderful friends offer to watch our kids overnight so that we could go out to dinner and a show on post. We went to see the Dueling Pianos. It wasn't what we expected, and we didn't make it even CLOSE to the end, but we had fun.
Blake had his Pinewood Derby, which he was awarded the Most Valuable and Off Roading. Most Valuable because he used nickels & dimes to weigh down his car. Most Off Roading because he put them too far back and his car kept jumping the track. He came up with the design and did most of the work himself.
Blake has been taking Tae Kwon Do since September. In December he had finally earned his uniform with a white belt. He progressed quickly and earned his yellow belt in February. He loves it more than the other sports he's tried. I think it has given him more confidence and taught more respect than he would have learned in other sports that are just seasonal also.
Tate found Blake's glasses. This is how he looks in them. Kinda cute, but I don't think I'm ready for a toddler with glasses. :)
