Tate went to the doctor on Wed. for his 9 month visit. He was 10 months old, but that's what happens when the appointment line is down and the clinic doesn't notify anyone of the new/temporary number. ANYWAY . . . . .
Tater weighed in at 22lbs 5oz and measured 26 1/4 inches tall.
*He's starting to slow down growth-wise because he's moving. Constantly. All over. Everywhere.
*He's finally sleeping through the night (after 2 nights of crying it out).
*He cut his first 2 teeth, bottom centers, in the last 2 weeks.
*Everything goes in his mouth.
*We recently discovered that Tate is afraid of the sound of legos moving around in the bin. He doesn't like the rattle sound I guess. He scrunches up his face and starts trying to crawl in 3 different directions at once, trying to figure out which way is best to get away from the sound of Legos. It's hilarious.
*He's already discovered cars and their wheels. He'll sit there and hold a car in one hand and spin the wheels with the other hand.
*He's been pulling up on the edges of the furniture for a few months. He's cruising along it now, trying to grab EVERYTHING within reach. And living in the land of the short people, that makes furniture to suit those short people, he can reach all the way to the back of the couch and almost all the way across the coffee table. Nowhere and nothing is safe from his clutches. If it's under the 3 feet mark.
*He has discovered that he wants to keep up with James in some things. And Blake. And Cathryn. Basically anyone who will chase him, or whom he can chase.
*He is a wonderfully happy baby.
*He eats 2-3 jars of baby food in one sitting (hence the fatness).
*He has the cutest , biggest smile that melts your heart.
And those are just a few reasons why we love our Tater-tot.
