Cathryn's FHE lesson
Cathryn was in charge of the latest Family Home Evening lesson. She wanted to learn about the story of Jesus and the lost sheep. Surprisingly she wanted to act it out while I read the story. She was VERY excited. We got started and they decided that they were going to take turns acting it out. So, Blake went first while Cathryn read the story (she DID read all but a few words she couldn't sound out). Blake 'hid' the lamb and acted the part of the Good Shepherd very well. Then Blake read the story and Cathryn acted it out, complete with funny facial expressions and hand gestures. They had a good time doing this. Maybe they'll want to do something like this again for Family Home Evening. I just hope it's not Cathryn's favorite Book of Mormon story of Ammon chopping the arms off the bad thieves. That wouldn't be pretty.

At a zone conference on my mission the ZLs acted out the Ammon story, complete with prop arms. It was quite funny.
