Grandma!! Kathy was the closest with a guess of 18lbs. Ken actually only lost about 15lbs. He's still working on it. So Kathy, let me know what you would like and where to send it. :)

Ken had another PT test yesterday. His score came in 2nd overall. He ran a 12:34 2 mile. The guy who got the closest time to Ken was more than 20 second off, with a time of 12:56. Ken said he passed the guy with a half mile to go. His goal for the run next time is to get it down to 12 minutes. He increased is sit ups and push ups by 15. The numbers were in the 60s, but I can't remember exactly what they were. There is another guy Ken's age that wants Ken to help him get better at the run. This guy pumped out 70 push ups in a minute. So they are going to trade off. Ken will help him with his running, and the other guy will help Ken with his push ups and sit ups. Ken said the guy gave him some tips Saturday night and that's how he was able to increase the numbers for sit/push ups on Monday. I don't know when the next PT test is, but Ken will be prepared.

Monday they got in trouble. More specifically the 1st Sgt. in charge and a PVT that decided to stay out all night Saturday night. The 1st Sgt. never did bed checks that night. Well, the next day, the PVT's roommates got reamed for not knowing where the other guy was all night. Ken said they had to get into formation every half hour. They have to be at formation 15 minutes early. So, no one would leave. They just stood around until time for the next formation. There have been quite a few people getting in trouble for fraternization. Ken said it's kind of amazing how stupid these people are. One guy got caught driving. He wouldn't have got caught if he didn't yell out the window to the 1st Sgt. Yeah, real bright people helping out the pilots in the air. Makes me feel better.

No other news from here. Just trying to get through the summer as quickly as possible.
