James update

James had his 6 month check-up on Monday. He weighs 17lbs 6oz (he gained 6oz in 1 week), and is 26 inches long. He had 2 shots. He was seen a week before for a rash on his belly that turned out to be eczema. She gave him some steroid cream and it cleared up within the week. The doctor was a little surprised that he's already starting to crawl. This week he started getting up on all fours and shuffling his knees back and forth, without going anywhere. He'll also get up on all fours and get up on his tippy-toes, like a mini downward facing dog (for all of you who know yoga speak). James doesn't like sitting up; he'd rather be getting into stuff. He's also trying to figure out how to sit up from being on his tummy. He'll prop himself up on his arms at an angle and either flop back down, or flop backwards. It's funny to watch him because he uses so many different ways to get around. He is officially ALL over the place. And so it begins . . .
