Labor Day

The kids have been bugging us for a couple of weeks to go swimming again. We decided Labor Day was warm enough to get the water warm. Ken spent about a half-hour trying to get Blake to jump off the side of the pool. He's done it before and Ken demonstrated for him a couple of times. We finally had to threaten to go home before he would jump. I got this picture in mid-jump the first time he tried it. Once he did it, he had no problem showing off for Nana & Hey Pop.



Cathryn had 3 floaties at one point: water wings, her hippo, and a noodle. Ken eventually got her to let go of the noodle and take off her water wings. She would try to kick, but wouldn't go anywhere because there were too many floaties for her little body. It was hilarious!!

We topped the day off with going out to eat with Nana & Hey Pop to Greensides Restaurant in Harmony. I seriously cannot remember the last time we went there. It was nice and quiet (until James got fussy). He doesn't like his car seat. The food was good, it wasn't crowded, and everyone had a good time!!
