Well, you won't catch me doing this anytime soon, or maybe ever in my life. But, Ken ran in his first 5K since high school on the 12th. He was very frustrated with the 'herding of cattle' feeling because of all the people slowing him down. His time was around 27 minutes. He looked up his personal best from when he was on track/cross country and it was 16:14. Maybe he'll make it back to that if he keeps going. He's planning on doing another race up in Winter Park on May 24th. My dad might even run with him. Last time that happened was before we got married. And let's just say that the judges are still out on that verdict. ;o)
If I may point out how completely unfair the way men can just THINK about losing weight and it just comes off. Ken has lost about 10lbs in the last few weeks. He's running only once or twice a week and going to the gym about the same amount. If only women could do that. It's so frustrating!!
