Blake was chosen by his teacher to be a Goodwill Ambassador again. For those who may not remember, that is an award given to one person in every class in the elementary school (grades 2-6). It's a person who exemplifies the Army core values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. This is the second year in a row that he has been awarded. I love this program because it encourages all kids to be better people, to help others, and to set a good example for others. Their reward was a service project at a nursing home (playing games and visiting with the seniors), making their own pizza at Mellow Mushroom, then going to the Fun Factory for roller skating, playing in a ball pit, basketball, and other fun stuff.
So proud of him!!
