We kept the kids out of school Thursday, after Cathryn's program at school. All of the kindergarten sang songs for the monthly meeting with the principal. More on that in the next post. :) After Cathryn's thing, we drove to Suwon, a little over an hour north of where we live. There is a huge fortress we just drove around. We were looking for a McDonald's and never found one. We finally stopped at a store called Home Plus, that's kind of like a 2 story Walmart with a parking garage attached. We were in there for a while looking around and had lunch at the Lotteria, the Korean equivalent to McDonald's. After that was done, we drove to the Korean Folk Village not far from there. I call it the Korean Williamsburg. :) We got there just in time to watch a drum show/dance called the Traditional Farmer's dance and the tight rope act. We saw the governors palace, jail, museum, and lots of other things. We'll have to go back to cover it all. There's just so much!!!
