Ken was promoted to Specialist, up a rank from Private First Class, on Friday, Oct. 1st. I got to put his new rank on his uniform. We are proud of him and are very glad to be moving up, step by step. A small pay raise is nice too. A few other guys were promoted also. After the ceremony, we took some friends and the kids to Osan Airbase to go out to eat at Chili's to celebrate. It was a busy, but good afternoon/evening.
Me sticking Ken's velcro rank on his chest. His colonel told me to give him a good push. So I did. hehehe
Then I gave him a hug to make up for it.
