We made plans to go to the zoo for the Columbus Day holiday. We had planned on leaving ASAP in the morning so we could cram in as much zoo life as possible. Then we found out Ken was supposed to work Monday afternoon. So, we undid our plans and said another time. Then we got a message Monday around 11am from Ken's boss saying that he was supposed to work Tuesday afternoon, not Monday. So, we called the friends that wanted to go with us and headed north, vaguely knowing the way to go. We found the zoo with no problems. The parking and admission was cheap (compared to the states). We got to ride a tram and a gondola/ski lift thing, all with no seat belts. We saw lots of animals and the kids fed the llamas veggies and monkeys bananas. The whole trip was about 7 hours, driving time included. We are definitely going back. There is a science museum, horse race course, and art museum all in the same area that we are going to visit too. Can't wait!

Love it!! Okay, so that first pic "on the tram"; can you say "Cheeks"!! So cute! I know he has cheeks, but I think the side angle really brings them out!
